This game screams of something that has potential, but wasn't given enough time in the making to be even worth playing.
Its a simple concept of an arcade style-shooter, minus the fun plus the overpopulation in roughly less than 30 seconds. I gave it a total of 5 tries each time, but the game is a bit to RNG for my taste in the way they move and when/where they come in.
It wouldn't be so bad if there was an actual CHANCE at dodging all those enemies that enter around phase 3 (the blue orbs spitting bullets) but there is so much going on in a small space that you have a huge lack of maneuverability which kills your chances at living for a long period of time.
On top of that on being hit if your holding down a button to move you stop moving and have to hit it again to re-activate motion which is really the killer because that fraction of time you need to start moving again before being hit again is TREMENDOUSLY small and you have a precious few seconds of "immunity" before being hit again and then you just start your chain of deaths towards the end of the game.
I find something like that barrier nice, but it shouldn't be necessary to have to use it to actually play the game, because its an OSHI-- Button and this entire game is OSH-- after 25 seconds....
In short either make the playing field larger or have enemies spawn at a slower rate so there is an actual chance of living, even Gradius wasn't this hard... or maybe have it so we don't lose all our upgrade we scale back one death.
However, all of those changes would be required imo for it to appeal more than the uber-hardcore arcade shooter fans, and even then I doubt they got very far

Your animations are still entertaining but the way your roll your fight scenes is getting somewhat repetitive. I know creativity in action sequences can be hard, but I believe you can pull it off.

The Madness series needs to end. It's gone far past its prime. Don't get me wrong your animation is still good, but now it lacks the originality and flair that the start of the series did. You just kill people endlessly now. I mean what happened to the storyline? It's impossible to follow. Hank is now undead like what 5 times? He has a mutated claw-arm? The slaughter-fest is getting old. I challenge you to bring Madness back to it's original glory.

I would like to see a serious flash version of this. If you expanded the idea and gave it actual animation instead of stick figures I think you could pull a solid 3.5 rating as it is though I give it a 2

Thanks for your feedback, and we will probably 'revamp' this in the future when time is available and add background, color, and more detail. But for now, this is what we've got so yeah. :D

"I can't believe I didn't try to find this sooner"
My good man in the realm of Fan-LOZ Flash you are certainly at the top. While your graphic style might not be "the best". It's original flowing art-work that fits what you were aiming for perfectly.
The flash in itself was completely unexpected in what happened. Once again you did a completely new link move like in your other flashes. From reflecting bombs to having a Crossbow-Axe you seem to have a knack for coming up with creative ideas for combat maneuvers with Link.
Also, I loved the scene when he was raised from the dead, infinite hearts made me laugh. Watching the Kill on Ganon felt a little strange, almost like it wasn't link's style it felt more like watching Kratos Finish off a Boss. It was still awesome, but didn't quite feel right. However, that's just me being Nit-picky.
I hope you continue to do some form of Zelda Flash in your free time, the Heroic Rage series is my personal favorite series of all time and I think Branching out into other aspects of LOZ could be done well by you. I personally wanna see a flash with a Goron as the Hero or maybe the early adventures of Ganondorf before he turned into a pig.
Once More You've Done Even Miyamoto Proud. *Salute*

"A-FUCKING-Mazing...More Like an Interactive Movie"
Than a Game and it turned out nearly perfect.
I noticed some people complaining about it being so feminist and this is true, but in the world of Crime men are still about 95% of the players. The Sniping was good, very good. Most Sniping games just give you headshot you gave us...6 different options outside of the Generic Headshot? I'd say that's pretty outstanding.
The Graphics were nice and crisp. The cutscenes were also nice in the comic-book style they were done with. Once again the headshot affects were outstanding.
However, I'm going to be picky with a couple of things. The story had too many one-liners, and it didn't really seem to flow in some cases when D told you to kill person in X way. Voice-acting would've been really nice in a piece of flash of this caliber.
Also, It doesn't really make sense that I could shoot someone and their corpse lies on the ground and people just walk past it. I understand the way you set up multiple kills would make this hard (specifically the police level), but it made me remember I'm playing a game instead of staying immersed. I also think more environment interactivity would've been nice.
For instance when killing the first person after he's dead you shoot out a light to cover his body so his accomplice who's a fair distance behind him won't notice his body and keeps on walking right past it. That would've been realistic and the very kind of polish that this game could have had.
Still Overall the Best Flash Game I've played in a very long time and I would very much enjoy a sequel.

Very Nice Job on working out a way to make a standardized game type very enjoyable. Sniper Pirates is most definitely a first.
I'd like to see you make some sort of Ship Battle based flash game that has more of a story-board to it. I think that some of the ideas you incorporated here would work very well in that sense or just make another awesome pirate game.
Arrrr!!

This game seems to be almost a carbon copy of heli-strike, but with way toned down graphics. It's still fun, just kinda seems like a stolen idea.

Really do we need this on Newgrounds? I know its everything by everyone, but normally we deal in flash...take it to a dedicated hentai site I'm sure a bunch of people would just love to skeet all over it.
Author's Response:
Hey it's flash. Plenty of people here skeet all over it.
